Bujinkan King County Dojo

Auburn, Washington

North West Native American Clever Crow stealing the sun

We study the art of “Budo Taijutsu” 武道体術

loosely translated as “Warrior Combat Arts of the Body"

武“Bu” translates as warrior—道“do” translates as way or path,

体“Tai” translates as body—術“jutsu” translates as method.

We offer training in the Japanese Martial Arts of the Bujinkan Dojo under the direction of Shihan Kyle Hayes, who receives his training from Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan who is the Soke (Head of the Family) or “Grandmaster”.

The Bujinkan Dojo is composed of nine different historical schools or lineages. Each school has specialties and unique lessons. The Nine Schools are:

 Togakure Ryu Ninpo

Gyokushin Ryu Ninpo

Kumogakure Ryu Ninpo

Gikan Ryu Koppojutsu

Koto Ryu Koppo Taijutsu

Takagi Yoshin Ryu Jutaijutsu

Gyokko Ryu Koshijutsu

Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu

Kuki Shinden Ryu Happo Hikenjutsu

We are not a “commercial” dojo. There are no tournaments or championships as such, and the class maintains an environment with emphasis on mastering one’s self while helping others through cooperation and collaboration. If you feel you have something to prove, this dojo is not for you.
